Lynda Carter

This morning on my way to work, a man walking by said I looked like Lynda Carter. At least I think it was a man—it was a sizable hipless person in taxicab-yellow sportswear flaunting an upswept do, sequined barrette, freshly lacquered nail tips and a 5 o'clock shadow. I would prefer to think he was a Wonder Woman fan, but he struck me as the late-night infomercial type. Not a good sign.

Domestica

If you look really carefully, you can see me there in the doorknob (not that you'd want to) and yes, I probably should have spent the time cleaning the bathroom rather than photographing it.

My life in cameras

...except my trusty Pentax digital. I think I fixed the frame advance on the Rollei—now I just need to find someplace that processes 120 film. Or watch eBay for a Besseler...

My son insisted that I take this picture.

The last of Westmoreland County

Yes, a lovely week of vacation has finally come to an end...

...and no, this is not where we stayed.

The base

Unfortunately, my fireworks shots did not come out as well as this one. Who wants to lug a tripod around when you already have kids and coolers in tow?

Picnic

No, this isn't Springfield—I'm on vacation this week. And yes, they do have some seriously large backyards out here on the Northern Neck.
